Spring runs from September to November. The selection shifts as the weeks warm up, so use this as a starting point when you speak with the florist.

Six flowers, six different effects
Some flowers lead the bouquet; others add height, scent or a softer edge. These are useful names to know when choosing your spring arrangement.
Tulips
Clean lines and gently moving stems make tulips an easy choice for a simple spring bouquet. Their strongest local season runs through the cooler months into spring; ask about colours as the weather warms.
Ranunculus
Fine layers of petals give ranunculus a soft, full look. They are especially useful in early and mid-spring bouquets when you want garden detail in pink, peach, cream or yellow.
Stock

Freesias

Keep spring flowers looking their best
Start clean
Wash the vase, trim the stem ends with a clean blade and remove leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Check the water
Check the level each day and refresh the water every two to three days, or sooner if it becomes cloudy.
Choose a cool spot
Keep flowers away from direct sun, heaters and ripening fruit. Remove spent blooms as the bouquet changes.

Which flowers can I ask for in spring?
Spring runs from September to November. Early and mid-spring often bring tulips, ranunculus, stock and freesias, while late spring brings options such as peonies and lisianthus. Roses remain an option beyond spring. Availability changes with growing conditions and the flower market.
Can I request ranunculus, freesias or peonies?
Yes, but please call before ordering if a particular flower is essential. These are requests to check with the florist, not a fixed ingredient list for every bouquet. Peonies have a relatively short local season towards late spring.
Can Vhouse deliver spring flowers today?
Same-day delivery is available to eligible Sydney addresses for orders placed before 2 pm AEST, subject to postcode, date and capacity. Ordering later or working to a specific time? Call 0449 839 999 so we can check what is possible.
Will my bouquet match the photograph?
The product page explains the intended size, palette and presentation. Seasonal mixed bouquets can contain different varieties from the photograph; substitutions aim to preserve the colour, style and value. Check the selected size and any optional vase or gift additions before ordering.
Can I collect my bouquet from Miranda?
Yes. Free pickup is available from Vhouse Florist at Shop 1179, Westfield Miranda, 600 Kingsway, Miranda NSW 2228. Choose the available pickup option when ordering.
Do I need to order a vase?
A vase is useful if the recipient will be at work, travelling or unlikely to have one ready. Check the product page for presentation options, or choose from our flowers in vases. A vase shown in a photograph may be an optional addition.
