For this Sydney wedding, we created the flowers for both the church ceremony and the reception at Curzon Hall in Marsfield. We wanted the styling to feel connected across the whole day, so the flowers at the church and the reception followed the same colour palette, mood and overall direction.
The inspiration leaned towards Japanese styling, with clean lines, sculptural shapes and flowers placed with intention rather than overcrowding every space. The colour palette brought together plum, burgundy, ivory and soft apricot, giving the arrangements warmth, depth and a soft romantic feel.
We used calla lilies, anthuriums, parrot tulips, trailing amaranthus and classic roses throughout the day. At the ceremony, flowers were styled along the aisle to frame the walk down the church. At the reception, we kept the guest tables refined with bud vases, while the bridal table became the main floral feature of the room.
We also added small cake flowers and candlelit styling for the evening, which helped soften the reception space and bring a warmer, more intimate atmosphere as the night went on.
